Lost and Found Dogs
Animal Rescue Groups

There is nothing worse then seeing a dog abandoned in the park or dog run and having no where to turn. These people will help. Virtually every purebred dog has a rescue coordinator in the tri-state area which can be located on the web by "googling" (name of breed + rescue). These other groups also rescue abandoned animals in New York City and have dogs available for adoption.

Social Teez
Rescue, rehab and place animals (including reptiles, dogs, cats and birds) for the ASPCA, Humane Society and zoos.

A Cause For Paws
Dedicated to saving NYC's homeless dogs and cats through rescue and adoptions.

Stray From The Heart
Stray from the Heart's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and place homeless dogs with loving new families

Mighty Mutts
Mighty Mutts
Mighty Mutts is a no-kill, all-volunteer animal rescue group. We rescue stray dogs and cats from the streets to provide them with food, shelter and any needed medical treatment.
